Biasi Boiler Warranty
The length of your Biasi boiler warranty (product-based) depends on your chosen boiler model:
- Dina: 2 years
- Basica: 5 years
- RinNova: 5 years
- ANTARES: 7 years
You can use the warranty if a mechanical or electrical fault at the production stage causes your boiler to malfunction.
No matter the length of your warranty, there are some standard conditions to be mindful of:
- The installation needs to happen within 60 days of the boiler purchase.
- The boiler installation must be completed by a registered Gas-Safe installer.
- The installer must complete the Benchmark booklet as well.
- For the warranty to be valid, you have 30 days from installation to register your new boiler with both Biasi and the Gas Safe Register.
It is also important to have your Biasi boiler serviced annually to maintain the warranty. Just remember to keep records of all your service receipts, as this is important for your warranty to remain valid. If you don’t know how often you should service your boiler, check out our guide.
Common Biasi Boiler Problems and Solutions
If you experience a problem with your Biasi boiler, check the LCD display on the control panel to see which error message is displayed. Then, refer to your Biasi user manual to understand what the problem is.
Never try to fix a boiler yourself. This will void your warranty so always get a professional to do it.
Low-pressure
Error message: ER 04
Low boiler pressure is caused by trapped air in the radiators, recently bled radiators or a leak in the system. Another culprit is a faulty pressure relief valve
Solution: Check for leaks and faults. If none are present, refer to the user manual on how to repressurize the system.
Strange noises
Error message: No error code
If the boiler is making a noise, there could be an internal issue, or it could simply be some trapped air.
Solution: Check the water pressure. If the pressure is low, this can cause weird noises. Another solution is to bleed the radiators. Make sure the boiler is turned off and the radiator is cold before you try this solution. If all else fails, call in a professional.
The boiler won’t ignite
Error message: ER 01
If the boiler doesn’t ignite, you won’t have any hot water supply.
Solution: First, check if the gas supply is turned on. Try a simple reset. Sometimes, simply resetting the boiler does help. If it doesn’t, then check for any loose wires or burned-out parts. If something looks awry, then call in a professional to take a look.
Other error codes
These are some other common error codes:
- ER 03 + RESET: This is a general lockout. You need to reset your boiler.
- ER 05: You have a faulty fan control system, which will need to be repaired or replaced.
- Two hyphens (- -): The boiler is in standby mode.
Important tips to remember
- Regularly check your boiler and have it serviced annually.
- Regularly bleed your radiators to remove trapped air.
- Don’t set the temperature too high. This will only increase maintenance and utility costs.
- Check the pumps and valves regularly to ensure they are working properly
