The company produces modular LFP batteries designed to work with compatible hybrid inverters, allowing installers to build a storage system around the capacity and output a household actually needs.
You aren’t paying for an EV charger or an advanced all-in-one energy platform if you don’t need one. For a homeowner whose goal is simply to store excess solar during the day and use cheaper electricity overnight, that can make a lot of sense.

Battery economics are heavily influenced by how much usable storage you receive for the installed price.

Those numbers are useful for comparing engineering specifications, but they are not the same thing as a warranty.

This is an area where you need to compare the exact hardware on your installer quote.
Sigenergy provides defined SigenStor warranty documentation covering the battery and energy controller, with retained-capacity and energy-throughput conditions.
Hanchu warranties vary by model and route to market, so don’t accept a generic claim such as “12-year warranty” without seeing the document that applies to the exact battery being installed.

This is where Hanchu is designed to compete.

With SigenStor, the answer may include better backup, integrated energy management, a premium inverter platform, cleaner installation, future scalability and the option of DC EV charging.
If you won’t use those things, the additional spend becomes difficult to recover purely through electricity-bill savings.

Sigenergy has a clear advantage if an EV forms part of your longer-term energy plan.
Its optional DC EV charging module can integrate into the SigenStor tower, and compatible vehicles can potentially support bi-directional energy flows.
Hanchu doesn’t offer an equivalent integrated charger. You can still combine a Hanchu-based battery system with a conventional home EV charger, but the charger remains separate hardware.
