The challenge

The customer’s existing boiler had become increasingly unreliable and had already needed several repairs. Hot water temperatures were inconsistent, and the homeowner was concerned about continuing to spend money repairing a boiler that was approaching the end of its useful life. When another fault developed, they contacted Eco Happy to discuss whether another repair or a full replacement made more sense.

What Eco Happy recommended

After reviewing the existing heating system and discussing the family’s heating and hot water requirements, Eco Happy recommended replacing the ageing boiler rather than investing in another repair. A modern A-rated combi boiler was selected and appropriately sized for the property and the household’s requirements, alongside updated heating controls.

The installation

Eco Happy removed the existing boiler and installed the new high-efficiency combi boiler together with modern heating controls. The work was completed within one day. Once installed, the new boiler was commissioned and the customer was shown how to use the new controls before the engineer left the property.

The results

The customer now has reliable heating and hot water with improved temperature control and the reassurance of a manufacturer warranty of up to 10 years. Replacing the ageing boiler also removes the uncertainty and repeated repair costs associated with the previous system, while the customer has reported quieter operation and improved hot water performance.
